Iron profiles - weight calculation

Process that calculates the weights of square, rectangular, circular, L, T, U and flat profiles. It supports different types of profiles and summarize everything in the summary

Welcome to the program created and offered by Itieffe "Iron profiles - Weight calculation". In a world where design and construction embrace precision and efficiency, the ability to determine the exact weight of iron sections is critical.

Whether you are involved in structural design, manufacturing, logistics planning or simply work that needs to be supported by wrought iron structures, understanding the weight of iron sections is crucial to ensuring your projects run smoothly.

This program was created with the aim of providing you with a practical and intuitive tool for calculating the weight of different types of iron profiles. Whether it's beams, angles or other shapes, this program will allow you to obtain precise and reliable values, allowing you to make informed decisions and plan accurately and above all calculate everything efficiently and on time.

Through a series of simple steps, you will be able to enter the dimensions and characteristics of the profiles, immediately obtaining the corresponding weight. By entering the cost per kg, you can immediately obtain the final price. It doesn't matter if you're a seasoned professional or new to the industry, our program has been designed to be accessible to everyone, offering a fast and efficient way to gain key insights.

Whether you're working on structural designs, load calculations, or just want to get an accurate estimate of the weight of iron sections, this program is here for you. Make the most of this resource to simplify your work and improve your productivity.

Without further ado, start using the "Iron Profiles - Weight Calculation" program and find out how practical and useful it can be for your needs.

Iron profiles - weight calculation

Program that calculates the weight of square, rectangular, circular, L, T, U and flat profiles.

It supports different types of profiles and summarizes everything in the summary

By filling in each single section (type of profiles) and entering the price of the same, in the summary box you get the cost necessary for the purchase.

The amounts can be calculated in any currency

INSTRUCTIONS

The program is straightforward and manageable even by people not belonging to the sector.

By inserting the standard measures described which can be obtained from the drop-down menu and the lengths of the section in question, it is easy to trace its weight in kg.

In the "Summary" section which summarizes all the weights calculated with the data entered for the computation, adding the cost per kg (any currency) of each individual profile, we arrive at the total cost of the product.

But let's take an example

Let's consider that we want to make a delello where we will need to use:

  • 1) square electro-welded steel profiles of 50×50 mm – thickness 3 mm – 50 m
  • 1) square electro-welded steel profiles of 40×40 mm – thickness 3 mm – 20 m
  • 4) angular profiles with equal sides, single round edges of 40 mm – thickness 3 mm – 30 m
  • 11) flat and wide flats of 40 mm – thickness 3 mm – 15 m

We put all the data into the program

50 × 50 mm square electro-welded steel sections - 3 mm thick - 50 m
in square electro-welded steel mm 40×40 – thickness mm 3 – m 20

angular profiles with equal sides, uni round edges of 40 mm - thickness 3 mm - 30 m

flat and wide plates 40 mm - 3 mm thick - 15 m

and let's analyze the Summary

Riepilogo

The kg boxes are filled automatically, reporting the weight of the individual profiles analyzed in the other sections and the total weight of the work (in this case 360,3 kg).

By inserting the cost in any currency of the single profiles per kg, the partial amounts are obtained which, added together, give the total (in this case currency x 870,48).

Remember that if you enter discordant values, for example:

 1) square electro-welded steel profiles of 40×40 mm – thickness mm 6 - m 20, the weight is not calculated.

Simple right?
